Hello my name is Melissa I am 32 and an accountant but most importantly a mother to a gorgeous 19month old bundle of joy!!!
1. How would you describe your makeup style? (i.e. classic 40’s pin-up, etc.)
As I’m a mother my style can only be classed as minimal and rushed!!! When I have the time I like dark smokey eyes and light lips, for me its all about the eyes
2. Lipstick or Lipgloss? Mascara or false lashes?
Lipstick and mascara because I can’t kiss my hubby and baby with gloopy lipgloss and I have never had the courage to attemp false eyelashes tho I would love to.
3. You are late for a hot date and you have not done your face. You have space for only 3 items in your purse and these are…
My metalic green gold eye shadow (glittery) mascara and liquid liner
4. What is your biggest beauty challenge/hurdle? (e.g. applying blush without looking like a clown… applying liquid liner…etc)
Definately lashes, I want to wear them soooo bad but I’m a little scared of getting it wrong, I have no clue as to how to apply false lashes at all!!
5. What beauty product do you have way too many of?
Foundations, all differing shades of pale!!! Some are cakey others smell foul, I can never find the perfect one, I have loads of them and never use any!
6. What are your beauty pet peeves? (List 1-3.)
1. Foundations, I can’t seem to find the right ones
2. Lip liner pencils, the ones I buy never seem to line my lip!!!????
3. People who wear way tooo much blusher
7. Who is/are your favorite beauty icon(s)?
I love Reese Witherspoons style which seems quite simple, Jennifer Aniston.
8. What beauty product do you regret buying in the past half year? (List 1-3; hopefully you don’t have too many…)
My lip stain, wouldn’t come off for love nor money, never again!!!
9. What (1-3) items is/are on your current Beauty Wishlist?
1. Definately at number one is set of good false lashes
2. Set of brushes, they are very expensive tho, but I firmly believe that if I have a set of proper make up brushes of all sizes and types I will look knock out, no pressure brushes!!!
3. A pallete so that I could experiment with other colours, once again tho too expensive.
