Hi! I’m Jenny, I’m turning 18 in March and I’m about to begin university this year, majoring in pathology and laboratory medicine (what a mouthful!) and French. My loves in life include: fashion & makeup, travelling, music and a good lemon meringue pie.
1. How would you describe your makeup style? (i.e. classic 40’s pin-up, etc.)
My makeup style is au natural and exotic. I love the dark bold brows (like the eye brows in Arabic makeup!) and dark eyeliner. I love a good brown smokey eye -in fact I think all the colours I mostly ever use are browns and bronzes. I just love a good natural exotic bronze look! I think I need to be more adventurous in my makeup shades…
2. Lipstick or Lipgloss? Mascara or false lashes?
Ooo that’s a tough one. Lipstick! Matte lipstick, I think. And mascara all the way! I don’t have enough patience for falsies every day.
3. You are late for a hot date and you have not done your face. You have space for only 3 items in your purse and these are…
Foundation – Just to even out my skintone. I have a problem with pigmentation.
Eyebrow pencil – I believe my brows bring a bit of character to my face.
Eyeliner – So much looks can come from one pencil. A good cat eye, a simple defined eye…whatever you’re in the mood for!
4. What is your biggest beauty challenge/hurdle? (e.g. applying blush without looking like a clown… applying liquid liner…etc)
Definitely doing a good cat eye. It is SO hard to make both sides even as some days when I wake up the folds in my eyes are different. It looks so weird!
5. What beauty product do you have way too many of?
Foundations definitely. It was during the phase where I was finding the right one for my yellow skin tone that I started amassing a massive collection of dodgy pink and orange foundations.
6. What are your beauty pet peeves? (List 1-3.)
Girls who wear too much makeup. Usually the perpetrators of this pet peeve are very beautiful. I just don’t know why they do it!
The fine line between the application of perfect blush and clowned up blush. Grr.
The price of cosmetics in Australia. Everything in Australia is SO SO much more expensive. Grr.
7. Who is/are your favorite beauty icon(s)?
Helena Paparizou. Greek goddess! Always so bronzed, tanned and perfect! I love love love love Mediterranean beauties!
8. What beauty product do you regret buying in the past half year? (List 1-3; hopefully you don’t have too many…)
A cheap eyeshadow palette from eBay – 88 colours! All crappy quality, everything you’d expect in a nightmare palette – very badly pigmented, powdery, chalky stuff that breaks the moment its touched.
9. What (1-3) items is/are on your current Beauty Wishlist?
Dior Amber Diamond
Estee Lauder bronze goddess eye palette ( All of those gorgeous Mediterranean colours!)
Naked 2 Palette – non-existent in Australia -.-

A fly. Then I could be a fly on the wall in so many situations!
