Hello! I’m Megan and I’m 19 years old, 20 in June. I’m a college Sophomore and I’m studying Fashion Design in Pittsburgh. I’ve been getting more and more into make up the past few years and have begun to crave experimentation. (This picture is a bit old. Only difference is my hair is longer and much less red.)
1. How would you describe your makeup style? (i.e. classic 40’s pin-up, etc.)
Well, I’m usually going for the light, natural look. But I really like pin-up and doll-ish styles as well.
2. Lipstick or Lipgloss? Mascara or false lashes?
I used to not use anything on my lips, but I’m starting to play around with lipsticks more these days. And I would much prefer mascara. False lashes are really hard for me to get the hang of.
3. You are late for a hot date and you have not done your face. You have space for only 3 items in your purse and these are…
Concealer, powder, and mascara! I need coverage for my blemishes and I need my eyelashes to stand out so my eyes pop. I love my eyes.
4. What is your biggest beauty challenge/hurdle? (e.g. applying blush without looking like a clown… applying liquid liner…etc)
It’s usually patience with applying any sort of eye makeup, especially false lashes. It always looks like I had a seizure in the middle of applying them.
5. What beauty product do you have way too many of?
I would have to say… lip gloss. I hardly ever use lip gloss, but people keep giving them to me as gifts or I’ll see one that I think I’ll like, but then I end up not caring about it.
6. What are your beauty pet peeves? (List 1-3.)
a) Foundation that doesn’t match your skin tone. One of my aunts is a super white southern woman and always wears a shade or two too dark for her complexion, so it looks like she’s wearing a mask.
b) Blotchy fake tans/spray on tans. I always want to cry when I see someone with a super blotchy complexion and then horrible application of makeup caked on top of it.
c) Make up that is over a day old. Ew. It really bothers me when people leave their make up on over night and just… kind of use it as their foundation to put more make up on top of that. Your skin’s going to hell in a hand basket if you keep that up!

8. What beauty product do you regret buying in the past half year? (List 1-3; hopefully you don’t have too many…)
I think the only thing that I’ve come close to regret for buying was a couple of colors in some lipstain that I bought. I never wear them, so it’s a sad waste, really. I just don’t think the colors look good on me.
9. What (1-3) items is/are on your current Beauty Wishlist?
a) Some limecrime slipstick/lip gloss

I don’t think I’ll be shedding any light on a brand new topic here, but I would honestly have to say I’m most like a cat. I’m not all that talkative, I keep to myself most of the time, I’m very affectionate to people I care about, I like attention from friends and family at inconvenient times, and I like sitting on at the computer. That just covers the basics, though.
