Actually I’ve yet to see a rich scarlet NOT look good on a read-head.
My suggestion is to go full-on and get a rich crimson like Maybelline Color Sensational in Red Revival!
[Update for Cherrypies: If you want a more orange-based red, try something like MAC Lady Danger, which is a gorgeous vermillion red (think of Ariel the Mermaid’s hair but with a lot more intensity)!
