LOL I don’t even know why but this cracks me up. @Anon, no offense taken. I just thought it was funny too.
Some facts:
- My hands are dry in general. I apply oils and heavy creams to them, but they peel and chap easily regardless. Even Vaseline doesn’t work sometimes.
- I handle makeup on a regular basis, which means I have to wash my hands a LOT. Before I touch ANY makeup, ESPECIALLY pan shadows because any oil will ruin them. So my fingers will be dryer than usual, unfortunately. And obviously I’m not going to apply moisturizer before touching shadow!
- I’m always amused something this small merits a comment or message. I swatch on my finger tips only when I really want to show texture, because it’s going to let you see EXACTLY what a product is going to look like if your lids are not baby-smooth.
If it’s big enough a deal for many of you, let me know and I’ll just stick with wrist swatches from now on!
@whosthecritic: Thanks for the suggestion! But I’m afraid if it stays on my hands it’s going to go into the shadow. LOL, so I’m stuck! No biggie.
