Get the Lipstick Look!

Can you list what lipsticks you used to demonstrate each of the finishes [ref. FAQ post on lipstick finishes]. I’d really love to buy the glossy, matte, and satin ones!

The bad news is that except for the “Satin” lip, the other 2 lips were created with 2 products each. The good news is it’s not hard to get the same look. They actually came from posts I did previously.

Glossy: Revlon Pink Pout Matte Lipstick + MAC Lavender Wind Lipglass on top (Lavender Wind is limited edition but Oyster Girl or even clear lipgloss would work fine.)

Alternative 1-step product for a similar look: MAC Lady Gaga (I) Lipglass (if you can still find it).

Matte: NYX Dolly Pink Lip Pencil + MAC Magenta Madness Pigment on top (tutorial linked here)
This is the most “complicated” lip to do as you need to be quite careful when layering the matte pigment over a pale pink pencil.

Alternative 1-step product for a similar look: Barry M 52 Shocking Pink Lip Paint applied and blotted to minimize any shine.

Satin: Barry M 52 Shocking Pink Lip Paint
This is actually a matte lipstick, but it does have a hint of shine if you apply it over moisturized lips. If you want to refresh that slight creaminess over the day, you can simply use a finger to lightly press on a tiny bit of petroleum jelly or non-shiny lip balm every few hours.

Alternative 1-step product for a similar look: Lime Crime Countessa Fluorescent is a little less blue but has a satiny-creme finish which is not as drying as Barry M Shocking Pink.
