Mid-April 2011 Collective Haul —- Miss Eylure pre-glued lashes in Olivia (Ardell 121 - bottom right) and Ava (Ardell 102 Demis) MAC Sable shadow (russet brown) MAC Steamy shadow (frosted teal) MAC Angel lipstick (top left) Etude House Ultra Shine Lips #14 Strawberry Milk (left-most) —- Closer Look at the Shades —- MAC Sable: This is a warm, plummy russet which is nice for a shimmery wash from lash to brow as it’s not extremely opaque. Good shading/contour color for pale to medium-deep skins. If you want something more intense, get Urban Decay Roach instead of this. —- MAC Steamy: Gorgeous frosted mermaid green. STUNNING with brown eyes. Great as a statement shade, as well as a liner when applied wet. —- MAC Angel: Kim Kardashian put this lipstick on the map. But I wasn’t really thinking of her when I put it in my basket. A pale nude pink with just a hint of peach to neutralize the undertone slightly. Be aware that if you are NC25/NW20 or lighter, this won’t give you that Kim K pale-lipped look, but it will still be a nice soft nude-tone. —- Etude House Strawberry Milk: EXACTLY like its name. I’m not sure where you can get hold of this outside of Asia, but maybe check out Ebay. The Koreans really know how to do their milky-nudes. (Brands like Laneige have fabulous versions as well.) This lipstick is sooo creamy and easy to wear that I can’t help applying it repeatedly. —-

Closer Look at the Shades
