Who this is for:
Women with relatively clear skin, or skin that is at least clear on the cheekbones, and bridge of the nose.
Women who have skin that is dry to combination. If you have the kind of skin and/or (like me) live the kind of climate that has you struggling to blot every 3 minutes, you probably don’t need any help getting dewy. Maybe just add some highlights around the top edge of your lips and inner corners of eyes.

I’ll always prefer using a good powder highlighter, as you can better control where everything goes, and you won’t mess up concealer, foundation and blush like you might when applying a liquid or cream product as a final step.
TheBalm Mary Luminizer compact - I’ve talked about this before. It’s a fantastic highlighter because it’s a powder that looks like a cream, which means it will fit right in with whatever makeup routine you’ve got, and won’t weigh down oilier skins.
MAC Pinkydee lipstick - Perfect pale, nude-pink lipstick with a pearl sheen to contrast with the golden glow, and just translucent enough to work with a wide range of skin tones except the very pale and very dark.
