My name is Tara, I’m a 17 year old Australian beauty blogger with not much of a fanbase, but a huge love and collection of makeup

1. How would you describe your makeup style? (i.e. classic 40’s pin-up, etc.)
I generally go for a casual look with mild inspiration from pin-up looks – I love doing winged eyeliner every day, and work my eye-shadow around my mood from that, and then add my lips!

2. Lipstick or Lipgloss? Mascara or false lashes?
Lipstick for sure. I cannot handle it if my lips feel like there’s heaps on them! And mascara, false lashes just make me look so made up.

3. You are late for a hot date and you have not done your face. You have space for only 3 items in your purse and these are…
Mascara, foundation, and red lippy.
I can definitely deal with having no liner and shadow if I have a nice red lip :)

4. What is your biggest beauty challenge/hurdle? (e.g. applying blush without looking like a clown… applying liquid liner…etc)
- Ooh, I’m not sure. I always seem to mess up my eyeliner or mascara by smudging it with my finger or something like that. And sometimes I can go a bit overboard with bronzer, i tend to stay away.

5. What beauty product do you have way too many of?
- Lipstick and nail polish. A person cannot wear that much!

6. What are your beauty pet peeves? (List 1-3.)
People who wear winged liner that can’t actually do it, but wear it out anyway. Practise at home until you get it, ladies. Also fits into the category of people who let their eyeliner smudge in their inner corner, ick!
Unblended eye-shadow, and orange face come close.

7. Who is/are your favorite beauty icon(s)?
Kristen Stewart. She’s so edgy but in such a nice way. Also, Katy Perry always flawlessly pulls off such fierce looks!

8. What beauty product do you regret buying in the past half year? (List 1-3; hopefully you don’t have too many…)
I bought this one eyeliner that pretty much crackled off, which made me sad, but apart from that I only regret buying bad foundation.

9. What (1-3) items is/are on your current Beauty Wishlist?
I want the Maybelline 10 hour lip stains, they look to die for! All the drugstore make up brands that we don’t have here, like elf and wet n wild, but apart from that, pretty much every lipstick in the store.

10. If you were an animal/creature, you would probably be a..
A cat, not only are they my favourite animal but just look at their eyes!

My names vanessa I’m 22 and I’m a nursing student but my true passion in beauty. If the nursing thing doesn’t work out I’m going to pursue a career in cosmetology. 

1. How would you describe your makeup style?

Hmm. I love winged eyeliner, smokey eye, and a neutral lip.  I also love red lipstick and classic pin-up style makeup. 


2. Lipstick or Lipgloss? Mascara or False Eyelashes?

Lipstick definitely because it lasts longer than lipgloss and looks better. Mascara because i like the more natural look.

3. You are late for a hot date and you have not done your face. You have space for only 3 items in your purse and these are…

 Mascara, lip gloss, and blush.

4. What is your biggest beauty challenge/ hurdle?

My biggest challenge is making my eyebrows look even.  my eyebrows grow uneven and i have to shape them a certain way and use brow liner or powder to make them look even.

5. What beauty product do you have way too many of?

First off you could never have too many of any makeup product but I guess you could say I have alot of eyeshadows. I love eyeshadows because when doing my makeup my favorite part of the process is making my eyes pop.


6. What are your beauty pet peeves? (List 1-3)

1. Too much foundation.  When girls cake on the foundation it just looks trashy and fake.

2. Too much blush. Too much blush makes you look like a clown. That’s why when using a bright blush you have to make sure you blend it well enough

3. Clumpy lashes.


7. Who is/are your favorite beauty icon(s)?

Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce and Katy Perry are some of my favs but I also love the classic look of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Ava Gardner.

8. What beauty product do you regret buying in the past half year?

Revlon’s Double Twist mascara cost me 8.99 and it was the worst purchase I’ve ever made. You would think it would be a good idea to combine plastic bristles with traditional bristles for a mascara wand but it’s horrible. The formula clumps and the wand is awkward to use.

9. What (1-3) items is/are on your current Beauty Wishlist?

Hmm….I’m loving the Mac Viva Glam Nicki lip stick and want it so bad. Also I’ve had my eye on Anastasia 6-Element Essential Brow Kit for a while but it’s a bit pricey.

10. If you were an animal/creature, you would probably be a…

Tiger. They are such beautful creatures. Also I’ve always been told i have cat eyes and tigers are my fav kind of kitty haha.

The name’s Ali, I’m a student and i also work for a non profit org. that focuses on empowering, honoring and mentoring young Latinas like myself. I am a very passionate person and i LOVE meeting new people   and going out to all types of events and festivals!

1. How would you describe your makeup style? (i.e. classic 40’s pin-up, etc.)

I have definitely went through many phases- from the gothic/glam to the pin up, to you name it! Currently my everyday make-up will either be neutral lips with natural brown smoky. When I go out I have an eclectic style really, but I’m really into contouring and  very well blended eyeshadow , and can’t forget the false lashes =D

2. Lipstick or Lipgloss? Mascara or false lashes?

Lipstick AND lipgloss! I love both, it just depends how I’m feeling and the look I’m going for. Mascara ALWAYS and false lashes only for special occasions and when i have the time lol.

Hmm, sounds familiar- assuming foundation is on and poppin’ i’ll run and scatter for mascara, lipstick (pink- not too much but will attract enough attention to be the focal point instead of the eyes), andddd last but not least my contouring powder to define my features <3 

4. What is your biggest beauty challenge/hurdle? (e.g. applying blush without looking like a clown… applying liquid liner…etc)

My personal biggest beauty burden would have to be to learn to deal and work around my eczema, which is a skin disease not too uncommon-except mine is chronic =/ Anyhow, having to deal with a very limited budget and VERY sensitive skin and (to my great dismay) expensive taste. Well, dealing with it around my skin condition is just what i gotta do.

(BTW anyone with ANY question or needing advice or suggestions regarding make up and dealing with sensitive/dry skin- i would LOVE to help, go into my ask box <3 )

5. What beauty product do you have way too many of?

I don’t have too much of anything (please recall the very limited budget comment lol) but it might be mascaras, it took me a very long time to find one that not only didn’t smear but that it would give length to me lovely batting lashes without weighing them down nor irritating my eyes. Greatfully i found a little blessing is disguise (and surprise!) in a natural Avocado based Mascara imported from Mexico, BY FAR the best! And I (as well as mi madre) have tried different types of mascaras from maybelline to lancome to estee lauder. I’m still always open to try other mascaras though.  So yeah!

6. What are your beauty pet peeves? (List 1-3.)

1) Anything that isn’t blended!!! ie. eyeshadow, foundation, blush! AHH!! lol

2) Caked foundation

3) forgetting to remember that make up only ENHACES our beauty. But we are ALL beautiful regardless <3

7. Who is/are your favorite beauty icon(s)?

Lately I’m really getting into Kat VonD (love her sephora line, wish i could afford it- inspiration will do for now! ). I love the dynamic of rihanna from super bright to seriously natural sexy, Kin Kardachian got that contouring and eyeshadow down to expertise! but my ultimate favorite has to be Beyonce all around, she just totally works any look however dramatic <3

8. What beauty product do you regret buying in the past half year? (List 1-3; hopefully you don’t have too many…)

Because of my skin condition I have to do some homework when buying makeup so its not much, but I do regret buying the Lip tint by covergirl- it was almost glossy and faded away after like an hour. Definetly not what a lip tint is about =[

9. What (1-3) items is/are on your current Beauty Wishlist?

1) Foundation Primer ( still debating on either MAC/smashbox/makeupforever)

2) a good lip tint! 

3) clinic redness relief powder!!!

10. If you were an animal/creature, you would probably be a…

A humming bird! They are so light and delicate and beautiful and seem to have a feisty and fearlessness about them ( yes, the Disney Pocahontas reference got it right- in my opinion lol!) But not only that the colors are absolutely beautiful and stunning <3

Hi I’m Jasmine. I’m a student studying nursing who loves beauty and makeup. I got married in June 2011 and are hoping to travel and see the world. I also love photography and disney movies. 

1. How would you describe your makeup style? (i.e. classic 40’s pin-up, etc.) 

Semi adventurous. I wear makeup almost every day but it’s never overdone. I have a balanced outlook about makeup, knowing when it’s time to keep it conservative and when it’s time to glam up. Once in a while I’ll  try to step outside the box every now and then, experimenting with vibrant colors or new products. 

2. Lipstick or Lipgloss? Mascara or false lashes?

Lipstick. A bold lipstick can be so versatile. You can make it as subtle or as bold as you want!  

3. You are late for a hot date and you have not done your face. You have space for only 3 items in your purse and these are…

Concealer to cover under eyes and blemishes , lipstick to double up as blush, eyeliner to define my eyes. 

4. What is your biggest beauty challenge/hurdle? (e.g. applying blush without looking like a clown… applying liquid liner…etc)

I am still trying to learn what brushes and techniques work on my eyes when applying my eye shadow. Sometimes all the colors tend to blend together and become one color.  

5. What beauty product do you have way too many of?

Definitely eye shadow. I keep trying different brands and colors thinking I can use them all but I can’t 

6. What are your beauty pet peeves? (List 1-3.)

1. Raccoon eyes from mascara/eyeliner running.

2. Unblended eye shadow.

3. Unfiled lips lined with dark lip liner. 

7. Who is/are your favorite beauty icon(s)?

Kevin Aucoin, and Lisa Eldridge are amazing makeup artists. Kim Kardashian, Adrianna Lima, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are proabally the most beautiful people in the world. 

8. What beauty product do you regret buying in the past half year? (List 1-3; hopefully you don’t have too many…)

1. Sally Hansen’s gem crush nail polish. Chipped after a day.

2. Seche Vite UV top coat with UV light. Doesn’t work, my polish chipped after 2 days, and it makes my nails smell like pepper.

3. The Urban Decay’s book of shadows 4. The shadows are great but I think the packaging is useless.  

9. What (1-3) items is/are on your current Beauty Wishlist?

1.The Naked 2 palette: I do not own either Naked’s but I have always lusted over them. The perfect everyday palette with just the right amount of nude and matte colors. So pigmented and great for travel.  

2.Sigma 18k brush set: Sigma brushes are always being compared to M.A.C brushes and are a fraction of the cost!. Every brush I will ever need. Very extravagant for sure! 

3.Tarte Amazonian clay foundation: SPF 15, 12-hour coverage, all natural ingredients.

A panda. They have such a chill life. Eat bamboo, play, and sleep. They are just so cute and cuddly! Also, they are black, white, and Asian! J
